Position Type: Direct Hire

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; alternatively a Bachelor's or Master's with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of industrial experience in product development.
• Experience in epoxy, adhesives, and polymer processing.
• Patents and publications preferred.

• Identify and create new technologies in structural and/or environmental sealing polymeric materials and processes.
• Develop fundamental knowledge on the relationship of materials, processes, structures, and properties.
• Lead and mentor a set of R&D personnel to plan and execute research projects.
• Provide mentorship to less-experienced associates.
• Generate and interpret data, communicating findings across departments.
• Maintain and expand expertise in physical, chemical, analytical, or formulation principles.
• Develop mechanistic understanding of current products and processes.
• Collaborate globally within internal and external scientific communities.
• Support patent activities through filing, surveillance, and defense of IP.
• Champion safety practices in laboratory and office environments.
• Provide leadership to technicians and specialists.
• Manage construction, maintenance, and safety of laboratory workspace and equipment.

• Strong laboratory safety management.
• Proficiency in scientific methods, laboratory apparatus, and communication skills.
