Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and supporting onboarding/orientation for new employees.
- Assist with collecting new hire documentation and presents new hire HR orientation as well as assists in conducting exit interviews.
- Assist with employee benefits programs and with inquiries.
- Assist with facilitating training and development initiatives as directed.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR regulations.
- Assist department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all credit union employees.
- Processes monthly billings from insurance providers. Reviews billings for accuracy and prepares invoices for payment.
- Assists VP of HR & Training with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Associate degree in business, psychology, organizational behavior, HR or equivalent experience in related discipline
- Two years or more related experience in HR field
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems (Applicant Pro a plus).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment and in-depth analytical and decision-making skills.
- Must exhibit initiative and display higher level thinking necessary to perform responsibilities.
- Must be ethical and able to keep information confidential.
- Computer proficiency with Applicant Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with safe driving record for driving to multiple locations as needed.
