Reporting directly to the VP
- Warehousing, the Director of Warehousing Operations oversees operations at the RJW Warehouses and ensures that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed on schedule. The role is directly responsible for overall leadership and day-to‑day operation of multiple warehouse facilities.

• Providing strategic direction and hands‑on leadership in all aspects of logistics, inventory management, and customer service
• Accountable for the development and achievement of monthly, annual, and long‑term strategic plans as well as operational improvement initiatives related to cost, efficiency, quality, and safety
• Collaborate with department leaders and their respective teams to achieve cost, quality, inventory measures, safety, customer satisfaction, and people development objectives
• Manage, coach, and develop direct reports and their respective teams to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills
• Oversee the operations of the warehouses, including compliance with OSHA, safety, workers compensation, and other regulations to ensure a safe and productive work environment
• Determine standards, KPI’s, production goals, and processes based on company policies and workloads, consulting with other management or subordinates to resolve problems, complaints, or issues
• Provide input on annual cost budgets and performance goals
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory policies and permits
• Promote effective policies in recruitment, retention, and training

• Experience in multi‑state warehouse acquisitions planning
• Outstanding track record of managing operations and delivering results through significant improvements in costs and transport
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster the development of an efficient and cohesive operations group, with the ability to organize and develop the talent of direct reports
• Substantial experience in lean process development, inventory control, logistics, and distribution management
• Experience managing a team of operations professionals
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience overseeing multiple warehouses
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with direct involvement in warehousing, transportation, and/or logistics fields
• Minimum of 10 years of industry‑related experience, including three years in upper management

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Activate phone systems using keyboards and buttons
• Articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others
• Regular indoor/office work, required to sit and use repetitive hand motion
• Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk
• Work more than continuous 8 hours when required
• Work under stressful situations, maintain accuracy, concentrate on more than one task at a time
• Read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision
• Hear speech in both ears within the normal 30 dB range at 500 to 2000 Hz
• Speak and communicate clearly over the telephone
• Maintain sound physical health as determined by a licensed physician, with no evidence of controlled substance use
