Job Summary:

The Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within their assigned area, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in alignment with departmental goals. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards including shipping and receiving HAZMAT products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Team Management:
  Directly supervise operations staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure that all team members are effectively carrying out their assigned tasks.
• Performance Evaluation:
  Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and set goals for team members to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company objectives.
• Conflict Resolution:
  Address and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Work Assignment:
  Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to staff, ensuring that work is distributed evenly and efficiently to meet operational demands.
• Training and Development:
  Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Safety Leadership:
  Enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that all staff adhere to safety standards. Lead safety meetings and conduct regular safety audits.
• Disciplinary Actions:
  Administer disciplinary actions when necessary, following company policies and procedures, and documenting all relevant incidents.
• Communication:
  Serve as the primary point of contact between staff and upper management, ensuring that team members are informed of company policies, changes, and expectations.
• Resource Allocation:
