This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the production flow of multiple projects. The lead must quickly identify waste, maintain a lean mindset, and hit production goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Supervise and lead warehouse employees.
- Maintain and surpass production goals.
- Monitor end‑to‑end production of projects.
- Ensure successful flow of production.
- Communicate end‑of‑day production to the supervisor.
- Fill in the supervisor role as needed.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training in a co‑pack or warehouse environment in a lead role.
- Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
- PC literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database (preferred).
- GED or high school diploma.
- College experience or degree is a plus.
- English (written/oral) required.
- Spanish (written/oral) a plus, not required.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables with limited standardization.
- Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Determine root causes and corrective actions.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Operate phone systems and work in a repetitive hand motion environment.
- Speak and communicate clearly over the telephone.
- Work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
- Maintain good cognitive skills and work accuracy under stress.
- Possess 20/20 corrected vision.
- Be in sound physical health and free of controlled substance use.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
- Noise level ranging from quiet to moderately loud.
