CNC Operator

We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to program, operate, and maintain CNC machinery for cutting natural stone products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a time-sensitive environment.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (e.g., 5-axis CNC – Breton) to cut natural stone such as granite, marble, and limestone. Day time production cut to size and evening production will run longer programs
• Read and interpret production tickets and CAD/CAM files to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for various stone types and thicknesses.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality, precision, and adherence to specifications, addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading stone slabs, as needed.

• Proficiency in programming CNC machines using software for 5-axis work
• Familiarity with tools such as bridge saws, or CNC routers used in stone fabrication.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices in a fabrication shop.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation is a plus.

• Experience with 5-axis CNC machines
• Familiarity with digital templating systems or laser measuring tools.
• Previous work in a custom stone fabrication shop or high‑end architectural projects.
