Warehouse General Labor-Janitorial Sanitation, 2nd Shift

  • Compensation: USD 17.5 hourly

We are currently hiring a Warehouse General Labor-Janitorial Sanitation, 2nd shift at our Romeoville, IL distribution center. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour with $2.00 shift differential. The hours for the shift are Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm, with opportunities for overtime.

GENERAL LABOR – JANITORIAL SANITATION will primarily engage in housekeeping and building maintenance projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Operate EPJ or be certified.
  • Operate garbage compactor and baler (certified).
  • Stand, walk, squat, and reach above shoulders and below waist.
  • Work both indoor and outdoor.
  • Lift up to 30-50 pounds.
  • Empty trash cans and crates.
  • Perform project work as directed by leadership.
  • Comply with all safety, security, and company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Meets productivity standards; completes work timely.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; identifies unsafe conditions.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction; responsible for own actions.
Shift Details
  • 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • $17.50/hr + $2.00 shift premium (overtime as needed)
