VAS Lead 2nd Shift

This position is responsible for the oversight and production flow of multiple projects. Ability to quickly identify waste while maintaining a lean mentality and hitting production goals is required.

• Supervising, leading, and training warehouse employees.
• Maintain and surpass production goals.
• Monitor the beginning-to-end production of projects.
• Ensure successful flow of production.
• Communicate end-of-day production to Supervisor.
• Fill in the Supervisor role as needed.

• Minimum 6 months–1 year related experience or training in a co‑pack or warehouse environment.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
• GED or high‑school diploma required; college experience or degree is a plus.
• English written and oral proficiency required;
  Spanish written or oral is a plus.
• Reasoning ability: solve practical problems and determine corrective actions.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Use phone systems and keyboards.
• Operate for continuous >8 hours when required.
• Maintain work accuracy and concentrate on multiple tasks.
• Read and discern visual images with 20/20 corrected vision.
• Speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
• Be in sound physical health with no evidence of controlled substance use.

Employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Noise levels range from quiet to moderately loud.
