Job Skills / Requirements Security Officer – Romeoville, ILLocation: Romeoville, Illinois
Compensation: $19.25 – $21.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Position SummaryWe are seeking qualified, professional, and dependable Security Officers to support operations at a client site in Romeoville, IL
. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain a professional presence while effectively utilizing technology as part of daily security operations.
- 24/7 coverage required
- One (1) officer on duty at all times
- Anticipated shifts:
- 7am-3pm
- 3pm-11pm
- 11pm-7am
- Active Illinois PERC Card
- Completion of a 20‑hour security training certificate
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Advanced computer and technology skills are required
, including the ability to confidently use multiple software platforms and digital systems as part of daily security operations - Physically capable of standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is required
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Prior security or protective services experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Concierge, front‑desk, administrative, or e‑commerce experience is a plus
