Rental Delivery Fueling Technician

We are seeking a Rental & Delivery Fueling Technician to support generator rental operations based out of Romeoville, IL. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long‑term career in power generation. In this role, you’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team delivering, fueling, maintaining, and supporting rental generators in the field. The company provides hands‑on training in preventive maintenance, fueling operations, and—over time—generator startups and installations.

• Deliver, fuel, pick up, and relocate rental generators at customer sites.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance (oil changes, fuel filters, inspections).
• Assist with generator startups and installations as skills develop.
• Yard organization and equipment staging.
• Material handling, shipping, and receiving.
• Safely tow trailers and transport equipment.
• Manage parts inventory on service truck.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicle.
• Attend safety meetings and technical training sessions.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card (required).
• Experience towing and pulling trailers.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands‑on mechanical background.
• Diesel engine or generator experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
