- Warehouse [Maintenance Mechanic] As a Furniture Repair Technician at Wayfair, you'll:
Work independently to evaluate damages and defects of items and determine if items can be repaired;
Evaluate each piece of furniture to determine the type of wood and/or upholstery repairs, parts, and materials needed to complete the job;
Monitor inventory, and orders replacement parts and complete installs as needed;
Refinish and patch damaged furniture including paint, stain, enamel or lacquers;
Repair, replace and rebuild damaged wood, leather or upholstery furniture or mechanical parts.
