Material Handler - Evening Shift at RJW Logistics Group.

E Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM ($21/hr).

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently; handle freight inbound or outbound; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and housekeeping; load/unload RJW trucks and trailers; ensure shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded; store stock properly; perform duties to provide material handling services for shipping and receiving activities; work from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers;

maintain forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures.

• Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
• Operate reach truck or walk‑ie rider.
• Use computers and handheld RF equipment.
• Load and unload RJW trucks and trailers safely and efficiently, including outside carrier equipment.
• Work 10–12 hour shifts when necessary; be comfortable with heights.
• PICK and move stock from 1 lb. to 50 lb. multiple times.
• Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and housekeeping.
• Process outbound cross‑dock freight as needed.
• Store stock properly and move product into storage racks.
• Use warehouse operations sheets to pick customer orders and load on trailers.
• Verify accuracy of shipments against paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork.
• Operate forklifts safely, following OSHA regulations, RJW safety policies, and procedures; wear seat belts at all times.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance inspections.
• Handle all customer products properly and orderly.
• Check deliveries for poor packing, condition of materials, and damage; alert the Warehouse Supervisor and take pictures if necessary.
• Report all accidents/incidents, stock damage, or building damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
• Spot trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and equipment flow.
• Keep dock doors free of debris or snow.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

• Work with a sense of urgency, accountability, and limited supervision.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Pay attention to detail and maintain quality.
• Communicate clearly and resolve problems; interact well with people.
• Be flexible to work overtime and cover other shifts.
• Show PC proficiency.
• Have experience with reach truck or stand‑up forklift/EPJ.
• Build pallets with stock and break down stock for independent orders.
• Know cross‑docking freight processes.
• Work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

• 3–6 months of forklift driving experience in a warehouse (reach truck, stand‑up forklifts, or electric pallet jacks).
• Good, stable work record.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehousing certifications are a plus.
