Summary
: RNDC is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and professional Transportation Supervisor to join our growing Operations team. The Transportation Supervisor directs and coordinates operational activities of delivery equipment and personnel by performing the following duties.

In this role, you will
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. May have responsibility to recommend performance management actions including but not limited to selection and hiring, transferring and discharging, the assignment of work, the receipt of rewards or progressive discipline.
  • Supervises all aspects of the product delivery operation and customer relations.
  • Oversees the routing of delivery trucks using the computerized Roadnet routing system and assigns all drivers and driver helpers to each route each day.
  • Updates, review and sets delivery routes throughout the day using the Green Mile driver tracking software.
  • Monitors driving performance per driver using the Geotab telematics software.
  • Rides with drivers to observe work habits and identify areas of needed improvement conducting training when necessary.
  • Trains drivers in the areas of safe driving, proper lifting techniques and company delivery process and procedure and interacts with internal departments and customers to resolve delivery problems as they occur throughout the day.
  • Enforces all company safety and security policies and programs and on occasion may be called upon to run a delivery route as business dictates.
What you bring to RNDC
  • Associate's degree from a two‑year college or technical school preferred.
  • Three or more years related experience, of which two to three years previous transportation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires a current state driver's license.
  • CDL License.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (e.g., TABC License – Texas).

Compensation Disclosure – Illinois Applicants

In compliance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act, this posting provides a good faith compensation estimate for the position. The salary range typically begins at $54,600 and may extend to $78,000, depending on an applicant's qualifications, skills, experience and internal equity considerations. This role may also include monthly earned commissions, where applicable. This compensation range applies specifically to positions located in Illinois and may differ for similar roles in other locations.
