Senior Warehouse Associate Nights — Cencora
Location: Romeoville, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Details: Night Shift – Sunday 5:00 pm until completion;
Monday–Thursday 6:00 pm until completion.
Pay: $24.50 per hour, including shift differential.
Responsibilities- Receiving, picking and staging customer orders, returns, shipping, and inventory organization, management, and control.
- Verifying merchandise received against shipment records; inspecting and reporting discrepancies or defects.
- Stocking shelves and ensuring materials are placed in designated areas.
- Using a radio‑frequency (RF) device for picking, packing, or inventory tasks.
- Assembling customer orders by pulling items from shelves and placing them in totes for packing and shipping.
- Entering orders, returns, and related data into the computer system.
- Inspecting returned items and returning merchandise to proper shelf locations.
- Completing daily inventory counts accurately and investigating discrepancies.
- Assisting with inventory procedures as needed.
- Performing controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment.
- Operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
- Assisting in training new associates.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; one or more years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and understand English product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build cooperative working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of DC workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Maintenance of a clean work area to prevent work-related injuries.
- Use of good judgment to follow detailed instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in physical inventory when needed.
- Team‑oriented with effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Certification to operate power equipment (e.g., reach trucks, picker machines, forklifts) at high levels (20’–40’) may be required.
- Hazmat training certification may be required.
- Maintenance of appropriate attendance standards.
- Ability to train and assist associates as needed.
Salary Range: $33,100 - $48,950 (national average).
