This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our Amerisource Bergen business.

Pay: $24.50/hour including shift differential. Eligible for productivity bonus paid out with every paycheck.

Shift: Full-Time – Night Shift. Sunday 3:00 pm until finish;
Monday through Thursday 5:00 pm until finish.

Employment is subject to verification of pre-employment screening tests, which may include drug screening and background check when permitted by state or local laws.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, staging customer orders, returns processing, shipping, and inventory organization, management, and control.
  • Verify merchandise received against shipping documentation; inspect products and report discrepancies or visible defects.
  • Stock shelves and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
  • Utilize radio-frequency (RF) scanning devices to support picking, packing, and inventory-related tasks, as applicable.
  • Assemble customer orders by accurately selecting items from shelves, placing them into totes for packing and shipment, and verifying quantities and customer specifications.
  • Enter orders, returns, and related information accurately into the computer system.
  • Inspect returned merchandise and restock items to the appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Complete daily inventory counts with accuracy and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with inventory procedures and audits upon request.
  • Perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment within secured cage/vault or refrigerated environments, as required.
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other motorized equipment to move inventory, when certified and authorized.
  • Support training and onboarding of new associates as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience preferred.
  • Must have Forklift Certification
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret the English language to accurately compare product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • General understanding of distribution center (DC) workflows and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure product integrity and reduce the risk of work-related injuries.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when carrying out detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required and participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and certification, as required, to safely operate powered industrial equipment at heights ranging from 20’–40’, including reach trucks, order pickers, and forklifts, in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain hazardous materials (HAZMAT) training and certification, if required.
  • Ability to meet and maintain attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to train, coach, and assist associates as needed.
