Joinery Estimator

Position: Joinery Estimator (Permanent)
Our client is a well-established specialist joinery contractor delivering bespoke joinery packages across commercial projects, including work in London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their head office team.

The Role

As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for bespoke joinery packages. You will work closely with directors, clients and suppliers to ensure all submissions are commercially viable and technically compliant.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications

Completing detailed take-offs from plans, elevations and drawings

Preparing cost estimates using labour, materials and subcontractor input

Producing and managing tender documentation

Liaising with clients and attending meetings in London when required

Working collaboratively with the wider team while also managing your own workload

About You

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Joinery Estimator

Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings

Confident completing full take-offs

Comfortable in client-facing environments

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Within commutable distance of head office
