A specialist fire protection contractor is seeking an experienced Passive Fire Estimator to support tendering, pricing, and commercial delivery across a range of UK projects. The role involves producing accurate estimates for fire‑stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, and associated passive fire works.

• Complete detailed take‑offs from drawings, specifications, and survey reports
• Prepare BOQs, cost plans, and tender submissions
• Liaise with clients, surveyors, and site teams to clarify scope
• Source material and labour rates, ensuring competitive and compliant pricing
• Support the commercial team with variations and project handovers
• Ensure all estimates align with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer guidance

• Proven experience estimating within passive fire, fire‑stopping, fire doors, or specialist subcontracting
• Strong understanding of fire protection systems and installation methods
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Confident producing take‑offs and tender documentation
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficient with Excel and estimating software
