- Lead and develop the English department
- Deliver high:quality English teaching across key stages
- Support, mentor, and manage English teaching staff
- Monitor progress, attainment, and curriculum planning
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching English
- Leadership or management experience within an English department preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
