We are recruiting a Care Support Teaching Assistant to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a special school in Romford, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them access learning in a caring, structured environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education and training for children with complex needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Providing personal care and emotional support where required
• Implementing behaviour support strategies and individual learning plans
• Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, and independence skills
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
• Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times
