About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Teacher of Psychology and Sociology to join our thriving and supportive department from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to the continued success of both subjects at [Insert School Name].

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (as applicable), fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. You will join a collaborative team committed to academic excellence and student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons in Psychology and Sociology.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students can achieve their potential.

Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.

Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities if required.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A strong academic background in Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.

Experience teaching at secondary level; ECTs are welcome to apply.

Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

Strong organisational and communication skills.
