Contract: Temporary / Long-term supply (sickness cover)

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced, committed and compassionate SENDCo to join our welcoming primary school in Romford on a long-term basis
, covering staff sickness. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact, starting as soon as possible
.

As SENDCo, you will play a vital role in leading and developing SEND provision across the school, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with senior leaders, class teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to deliver high-quality, inclusive practice.

• Leading and managing SEND provision across the school
• Coordinating and reviewing EHCPs, support plans and interventions
• Supporting teachers with high-quality inclusive teaching strategies
• Liaising with parents, carers and external professionals
• Ensuring statutory SEND requirements are met Promoting a positive, inclusive culture where all pupils thrive

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Hold the National Award for SEND Coordination.
• Have experience as a SENDCo in a primary setting (essential)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• Be organised, proactive and confident working independently
• Have a genuine passion for inclusive education
