Assistant SENCO

Horizon Teachers is actively seeking an Assistant SENCO for secondary schools within East London. The ideal candidate will be open to working with students aged from 11-16 across KS3 and KS4 students.

About the school
We are a mixed secondary school which is committed to providing an excellent education for all pupils from ages 11-16 that is rated OFSTED “Good”. We do provide extensive support for pupils that do require additional support with their learning.

The Role

To assist the SENCO in leading on the provision for SEND within the Academy.
To track and monitor the progress of pupils with SEND, implementing and assessing the effectiveness of relevant interventions.
Deliver 1-1 interventions to pupils.
To be responsible for the day and day operations of the Learning Support Assistants.
