We are currently recruiting for a Temporary BTEC Art Tutor/Teacher (QTS preferred) to work in an SEN school in Romford on a week-by-week basis.
Start Date:
ASAP
Hours:
8:15am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday
Contract:
Temporary (weekly)
You will be responsible for delivering engaging BTEC Art lessons to students aged 14-16 in a supportive SEN environment, helping learners develop both creative and academic skills.
Key Requirements- Experience teaching in a 14-16 education setting
- Previous experience working in an SEN environment (essential or highly desirable)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
- QTS preferred (or relevant teaching/tutoring qualification)
- Plan and deliver high-quality BTEC Art lessons
- Support students with additional needs
- Maintain a positive and structured learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership
