All Together Education Recruitment is working with an infant school in Romford to recruit a Reception Teacher for a one-year maternity cover.
We are looking for a teacher who can create a nurturing, engaging classroom and help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Responsibilities include:- Planning and delivering lessons and activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Teaching phonics and supporting early reading, writing and numeracy.
- Developing stimulating continuous provision and purposeful play.
- Assessing children's progress and adapting provision to their individual needs.
- Working closely with support staff, colleagues and parents.
- Maintaining positive routines and supporting children's wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Reception or relevant EYFS teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Confidence in phonics teaching, assessment and inclusive practice.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and relevant safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check
