A Senior Electrical Design Engineer is required by an Engineering Organisation based in Romford. Ideally this will be a full time office based position but consideration will be given for flexible working for the right individual.
Job tasks:- Assist in amplifying client brief
- Undertake condition surveys and reports
- Prepare feasibility reports and cost plans
- Carry out detailed surveys for equipment replacement
- Prepare design calculations
- Prepare detailed designs and coordinating with CAD team
- Attend design team meetings
- Prepare NBS specifications, equipment schedules and tender documents
- Review and report on tender prices and quality returns
- Attend and chair pre-start and site progress meetings
- Undertake site quality and progress inspections
- Reviewing contractor applications and certifying payment
- Act as Contract Administrator
- Assist and mentor more junior staff
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will have at least 6 years experience within running building service projects and have qualifications to support this.
Salary is dependent on experience.
