Do you have a minimum of 2 years of UK-based structural design experience and live within sensible commuting distance of Romford? Small family‑run structural design consultancy is seeking a graduate structural engineer with a minimum of 2 years of UK buildings design experience and no current or future visa requirements to join their practice. Autocad capability is also essential.

The firm works mainly in the residential sector, with projects ranging from small extensions to larger apartment developments up to £20m in value. Clients include betting shops, breweries and property developers, with work spread nationwide.

Parking is available and the practice is a 5‑minute walk from the station. The office environment is very relaxed, with low staff turnover. You will be taking responsibility for all aspects of projects, attending site, meeting with clients and architects – a busy and active role.

• Good practical building knowledge and structural refurbishment experience.
• Site experience desirable, as is having an architectural flair.
• Tekla, Revit and Bluebeam experience useful but not essential.
