Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. This role involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, supporting cost management, risk mitigation, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
* Monitor project costs and provide timely financial reporting to management.
* Manage tender processes, including documentation, analysis, and contractor selection.
* Prepare valuations, variation orders, and contract claims.
* Conduct risk assessments and value engineering exercises to optimise costs.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety, and sustainability considerations.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E industry
* Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management procedures.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and construction-related software (e.g., CostX, Build Soft).
