Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist needed in Havering.

Pay Rate: £30 - £40 per hour

• Provide 1 hour direct Speech and Language Therapy per week.
• Provide 1 hour indirect support per week (liaison, resources, planning, reporting).
• Deliver specialist intervention for ASD and social communication needs.
• Liaise with school staff, family and local authority professionals.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews where required.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and comply with all safeguarding standards.

• BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration (essential).
• Minimum 2 years' paediatric SLT experience.
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND, including ASD and social communication needs.
• Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Professional indemnity & public liability insurance.

• RCSLT membership.
• Experience with in secondary education settings.
• Knowledge of sensory needs and multidisciplinary working.
• Experience providing advice and strategies to families or schools.

• Weekly requirement: 2 hours per week (1 hour direct, 1 hour indirect).
• Flexible working within school timetable.
• All safeguarding and vetting checks must be completed prior to starting.
