Position: Property Legal Assistant (Permanent)
Service Care Legal are working with a well-established, multi-office and Lexcel-accredited high-street law firm in the Romford area seeking a Residential Property Legal Assistant / Paralegal. This is a permanent opportunity within a busy and growing conveyancing department, offering stability, progression and a supportive team environment.

ROLE:
Legal Assistant – Residential Property

LOCATION:

Romford
SALARY: £28,500 to £30,000 per annum

Please note that this role will be fully office based during probationary period.

The Role

Providing hands-on support on residential conveyancing matters, with regular client contact and responsibility for progressing files
Managing conveyancing searches, Land Registry applications, engrossments and associated legal documentation
Assisting with matters from exchange of contracts through to completion, including post-exchange requirements
Working full-time, office-based, as part of a friendly and experienced residential property team

The Person

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential property within a legal environment (essential)
Strong technical conveyancing knowledge with the ability to work independently when required
Confident handling exchange, post-exchange and completion stages of residential transactions
Highly organised, personable and client-focused, with excellent administrative skills
