Care Home Manager - Nursing Home Romford Up to £80,000 per annum + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead an established nursing home in Romford.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take full responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of person‑centred nursing and residential care.

The Role

You will have overall accountability for care quality, safeguarding, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, financial performance and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
  • Overseeing care planning, medication management and clinical standards
  • Managing budgets, staffing levels, rotas and agency usage
  • Driving occupancy and maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals and local stakeholders
  • Embedding robust safeguarding, quality assurance and health & safety systems
  • Recruiting, developing and performance‑managing a high‑performing multidisciplinary team
About You
  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager within a nursing home setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical compliance
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Care (or equivalent)
  • Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN preferred
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
