Main duties of the job
The post holder, in liaison with the Team Leader, is responsible for the assessment of care needs for all patients, ensuring appropriately planned care is implemented, evaluated and documented. The post holder must demonstrate good communication skills within the specialty and act as an anaesthetic practitioner within the limits of their qualifications.
Person specification Education / Qualifications- Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse
- ALS/ILS certification
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Post Registration experience of working in Theatres
- Essential knowledge of own specialty and current Theatre issues
Applicants must have appropriate UK professional registration. The post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and requires Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
