Job Overview

Band 5 Anesthetic Practitioner – Full time, Permanent – Queens Hospital, BHRUT (operating theatres across Queens Hospital and King George's Hospital).

• Assess patient care needs and plan, implement, evaluate and document anaesthesia care according to established standards.
• Provide anaesthesia services within the scope of your qualification, maintaining effective communication with the surgical team and patients.
• Participate in clinical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Band 5 status within the NHS.
• Recognised postgraduate anaesthetic nursing qualification or ODP qualification.
• Extensive anaesthesia experience across multiple peri‑operative specialties (e.g., general, vascular, ENT, neurosurgery, obstetrics).
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends or evenings as required.

Working across two sites:
Queens Hospital (Romford) and King George's Hospital (Goodmayes). The role will involve collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and participation in quality improvement projects.
