Monitoring Technician – SOCOTEC UK & Ireland

We are seeking a dedicated Monitoring Technician to join our Environment & Safety Division at SOCOTEC UK & Ireland. This role plays a vital part in supporting our environmental monitoring and consultancy services.

• Trade effluent sampling.
• Water sampling and water compliance monitoring.
• Daily travel to client sites.
• Report writing and customer liaison.
• Perform a variety of tests, adapting to changing project locations and client needs.

• Follow written procedures and instructions.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with clients when faults are identified.
• Produce detailed site observations for technical reports based on current guidelines, legislation and best practice.
• Flexible working style and positive attitude.
• Work safely, avoiding hazards to self, colleagues and clients.

Our Environmental team comprises specialists across environmental monitoring, consultancy, laboratory support and onsite work for dust, noise, and exhaust emissions.
