About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join our Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)/Front Door team. This opportunity allows you to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by delivering high‑quality intervention within social care services in line with statutory requirements and best practice.

As part of our Starting Well service you will manage a varied caseload, conduct thorough assessments and work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to safeguard and improve outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring cases are effectively assessed and managed. Utilise specialist knowledge for appropriate interventions, risk assessments, care planning, child‑in‑need and child‑in‑care processes, and child protection investigations.
  • Undertake high‑quality, child‑centred, community‑focused assessments. Collaborate with the multi‑agency network to deliver interventions that bring about positive change and secure the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Identify and assess levels of risk and need, delivering protective or supportive services for children at risk, in need, or looked after.

  • Maintain accurate, timely case records and reports in line with departmental standards.
  • Contribute to the continued delivery of an effective Children Social Care service as part of a social‑work team, improving outcomes for children and young people in line with statutory and departmental policies, procedures, and guidance.
About You
  • Qualifications: CQSW degree in Social Work CSS or equivalent; current Carlos
