- Grade 9- 56,058 - 60,393paThe successful candidate will Directly manage and supervise a small number of non-social work staff.

Manage a caseload of complex and challenging searches for homes for children and oversee the quality assurance of providers contracted by the council.

Support the Team Manager in maintaining and developing high professional standards across the team.

Have specialist knowledge of social work practice with children and families that can be used across the brokerage service to support the identification of good homes for children in care.

To represent the service in developing key service provision or local strategic initiatives with commissioners and care providers.

Take responsibility for developing skills, expertise and knowledge for a wide range of practice issues and to provide consultation, coaching and mentoring within the team, including effective case management,, analytical assessments and high quality written work.
