Responsibilities Serve as the Project Manager for projects specific to Undersea Telecommunications Industry; working with internal teams, (Project Management, Quality, Reliability, Finance, Operations, and Marine Services).The scope of the Director
- Project Management’s activities is to support one or more project managers and projects (simultaneously), from pre-award through RFPAWork with applicable project teams to own/support the following project activities:

Manage P/L of project including increasing margin and revenue

Develop project strategy to increase revenue/margin

Develop risk analysis and project strategy to mitigate and reduce risks to Sub Com Negotiate  project changes

Manage contract including terms and conditions, technical requirements, scope, schedule, and budget. Manage the customer relationship, project notices and project changes

Establish and meet project objectives by analyzing contract deliverables and collaborating with project team members

Achieve financial objectives on the project and review/understand variances

Informing leadership team of key project issues

Qualifications GM experience desired.

Entrepreneurial experience.

Experience in negotiations, managing the P/L of projects, strategy development/implementation, risk management, and contract management a must.

Experience in managing large cross functional projects or leading a team on undersea or construction projects. Experience matrix-managing a team is useful.

Understanding of contract language.

Demonstrated ability to solve problems within own position, across organizations, and with customers.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

International and domestic travel to support customer meetings as needed.

BA/BS degree in an Engineering, Business, or technical discipline; and at least 10 years related work experience.
