Position Overview This role is responsible for the effective planning, coordination and delivery of the marine activities associated with end-to-end subsea fiber optic cable projects. The position works closely with internal functions by interfacing and coordinating with all support departments including but not limited to manufacturing, permitting, survey, fleet operations and, quality, as well as a range of external third- party suppliers, to ensure marine work is effectively integrated into the overall project delivery plan.

The role focuses specifically on the marine execution of cable installation projects, ensuring that vessels, marine contractors, offshore personnel and supporting associated resources are properly planned, coordinated and managed. Activities must focus on delivery of the project safely, efficiently, cost effectively and in accordance with contractual and project requirements.

The role will also act as a key interface between the project team, client, marine contractors, vessel operators and, offshore teams, translating the overall project requirements into a practical and executable marine installation program.

Sub Com operates continuously, and this role requires flexibility to support client engagements and critical operational matters outside normal business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and monitor marine installation and shore-end activities for subsea fiber optic cable projects, including execution plans, schedules, mobilization plans and recovery actions.

Ensure marine activities comply with approved procedures, project requirements, applicable regulations and contractual obligations.

Provide technical and operational input to project planning, risk assessments and method statements.

Serve as the primary interface between the project team, client representatives, marine contractors, vessel operators and offshore personnel, including participation in coordination meetings and reviews.

Support ISO driven process improvement initiatives by adhering to policies and processes related to project documentation (import/export commercial invoices, spares plan/inventories, MS Project plans of work)
Manage day-to-day interfaces with installation vessels, survey vessels, burial contractors and other marine service providers.

Coordinate vessel readiness, mobilization and demobilization, ensuring equipment, personnel and documentation are in place.
