General Operative, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Responsibilities

The position is for manual handling of brick products, cutting bricks and cladding pre‑fabricated chimneys. This role is physically demanding and therefore a degree of strength and fitness is required. The position is full time.

An awareness of health and safety must be demonstrated in the workplace at all times.

• Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment would be an advantage to the successful applicant, but not essential.
• A flexible approach to work, demonstrating willingness to work in various departments as projects require.
• Well organised and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• £12.71 per hour with ability to progress
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Monthly paid production bonus in due course
• 40 hours per week. Working hours Mon – Fri: 07:30 – 16:00
