We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Romsey.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled machinist who is confident operating conventional manual lathes and producing precision-engineered components to specification.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating manual/conventional centre lathes.
- Manufacturing components from engineering drawings.
- Working to tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Measuring and inspecting finished parts using a range of inspection equipment.
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
- Previous experience operating manual lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Competent using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
