We are looking for two full-time Nursery Assistants to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role in a fast-paced plant nursery environment. Full training will be provided.

About the Role

As part of our nursery team, you will support a variety of horticultural and production tasks, including:

Lifting and preparing plants for customer orders
Completing crop husbandry activities
Working as a part of the potting team
General outdoor manual work in all weather conditions

This is a physically demanding position requiring regular heavy lifting, bending, and being on your feet throughout the day.

Working Hours

39 hours per week + overtime as required (notified the day before lunch where possible).

Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

Friday: 7:30am-3:00pm

Pay rate - £12.21 p/h (£17.25 p/h - overtime & Bank Holiday)

Bank Holidays:

All staff are required to work bank holidays.

Requirements

Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to work to daily productivity rates
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
