Join Travis Perkins plc as a Yard Sales Assistant. You’ll be on the front line dealing with our customers coming into the yard.

As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first‑class service.

• Our success is built on strong relationships with clients; it’s essential that you can deliver the highest standards of service – be helpful and friendly at all times and get to know our customers by first name.
• Operate outside, processing customer orders and loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
• Unload building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them into the branch warehouse.
• Experience using a forklift is ideal – full training is provided if needed.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment and ensure safety standards are never compromised.

This is a key customer‑facing role – you just need the ability to provide great customer service; we can teach you the rest.

• Physically active – the role is located outside and involves lifting heavy building materials.
• Friendly and outgoing personality – able to communicate face‑to‑face with customers and build strong relationships.
• Adaptable, resilient and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive.
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
