Night Auditor

The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. The Night Auditor will also attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, making reservations, and answering questions.

• Proactively ensure guest security and create a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
• Count cash and maintain the accuracy of the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Check the front desk log for issues and special requests.
• Greet guests, register them, and assign rooms.
• Process guest registrations and payments.
• Prepare express checkout folios.
• Maintain room status inventory.
• Communicate shift information to the Front Office Manager, General Manager, and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by passing on pertinent information.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local attractions.
• Complete shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
