Position: MECHATRONICS – PLC AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN – Romulus, Michigan, USA

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with the following;
    • Programming logic controllers.
    • Manufacturing automation.
    • Allen Bradley/Rockwell controls and software.
    • PLC hardware and software.
    • HMI hardware and software.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain support and programming of PLCs, HMIs, robots, vision systems, and other automation components.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and build manufacturing controls.
  • Ability to program and build PLC Controls and automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment and machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repairs mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment including programmable controls.
  • Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to develop and implement automation solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ability to work independently and develop procedures and processes, as well as train/coach manufacturing and technical personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Wage & Shifts
  • $32.00 to $38.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday; AFTERNOONS – 6:00pm to 2:30am
