Truss/Wall Panel Builder / Assemblers

We manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, and stairs. Our labor division performs the field install of these products.
- Alone or with team to assemble interior and exterior walls.
- Nail together wall components.
- Layout component materials on carts or floor.
- Stock supplies and materials for assembly set‑up.
- Assist in setup of component assembly process.
- Monitor production workflow assisting other areas as needed.
- Load and band finished components on carts inside/outside.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate necessary equipment for the assembly process.
- Follow all safety rules and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Specific Duties
- Assemble precut wooden parts to build trusses and wall sections.
- Position parts in jig using hand or overhead crane.
- Attach metal reinforcement plates and connect parts.
- Verify dimensions and accuracy of assembly.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs repetitively throughout the day.
- Must be able to read schematics and place proper material onto the setup.
- Follow standard operating procedures for all machines.
- Maintain station cleanup procedures.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Dependability and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Position located in plant; majority of time spent in the shop, heated in winter, conditioned in summer.
Physical requirements include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder height and below waist with materials up to 25 lbs.
Hours & ScheduleFull‑time, 40 hours per week plus mandatory overtime as needed. Typical 8‑hour shifts.
Education & ExperienceHigh school or equivalent preferred. Construction experience: 1 year required.
