A great UHY client is seeking a Quality Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of aerospace quality experience, experience with non-destructive testing, calipers, height gauges, and blueprints, and the ability to manage employees and inspect parts proficiently.

The Quality Lead role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.

• Lead the quality inspectors, instructing on processes, job inspections, and hot jobs.
• Responsible for sign-offs on in-process, first piece, and final inspections.
• Manage all quality documentation, including First Article Inspections.
• Perform physical inspections using instruments like height gauges and calipers.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a quality-focused role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• No degree required for this position.
• Experience with non-destructive testing, calipers, height gauges, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems.
• Ability to manage employees and be proficient in inspecting parts.
• CMM experience and knowledge of digital optical comparators (e.g., Keyence models) are beneficial.
