Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor‑trailers and straight trucks, while ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, automatic transmission operation, and adherence to safety regulations.

• Operate trucks equipped with automatic transmissions and possibly refrigerated trailers.
• Execute route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance (Samsara).
• Possibly have to load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks only when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
• Must be able to cross the Canadian border.

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Must possess a valid enhanced driver license to cross the border and enter into Canada.
• Must be 23 years of age.
• Experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor‑trailers and straight trucks.
• Ability to navigate routes effectively and efficiently.
• Previous experience operating refrigerated trailers is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Ability to lift heavy loads as required during loading and unloading processes.

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
