Senior Manage Product

The Senior Manager:
Home Product is responsible for driving the execution and ongoing optimisation of MTN’s Home Broadband product portfolio across FTTH, FWA and adjacent Home propositions, while supporting the GM:
Home Product in the development and evolution of the overall product strategy and value proposition.

The role translates Group Home product strategy and value proposition frameworks into executable product propositions, working closely with OpCos and Group functions to accelerate launches, improve product performance and ensure consistent adoption of Group standards.

The incumbent will manage products through their lifecycle from proposition development and business case validation through launch, performance management and optimisation using customer insights, competitive intelligence, usage data and commercial performance to continually improve customer value, uptake, ARPU and engagement.

The role requires a strong combination of Home Broadband product expertise, commercial acumen, analytical capability, and disciplined execution, with the ability to work across multiple markets and influence stakeholders in a matrix organisation.

The Home Broadband market is evolving rapidly, driven by changing customer expectations, increasing competition, new technologies and the convergence of connectivity with digital and connected-home services. As MTN scales FTTH and FWA across markets with different levels of maturity, affordability and infrastructure readiness, the ability to develop propositions that are customer-led, commercially attractive, scalable and capable of local adaptation is increasingly important.

This role provides the product execution capability required to translate Group Home strategy into market-ready propositions, accelerate launches, manage products through their lifecycle and systematically scale successful propositions and practices across OpCos.

Global Influences:
Increasing demand for FTTH, 5G, smart homes, IoT, and high-speed internet connectivity is shaping broadband services. Global innovations and industry trends, such as cloud computing, fibre expansion, and smart technologies, are key drivers of service demand.

Environmental / Industry Demands:
There is a significant gap in home broadband penetration across Africa, with growing competition from both traditional and new entrants. Regulatory considerations and the need for partnerships with local infrastructure providers play an important role in broadband rollout.
