About Job Role
Organize and control all aspects and activities within stock management and ensure that company inventory and stock control processes are efficient, effective and up to date.
Continuous improvement through the disciplinary supervision of stock team while improving all relevant standards.
Responsible for assessing current stock management systems, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing solutions that maximize inventory accuracy, minimize stock losses, and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory and Stock Accuracy
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records
- Conduct cycle counts, spot checks, and assist with monthly stock take
- Investigate and resolve stock variances or discrepancies
- Identify and report slow-moving or damaged stock
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate team members to meet performance targets
- Manage attendance, leave, and disciplinary issues in line with company policy
- Support new staff with training and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures
- Encourage teamwork and build a positive, accountable work culture
- Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Enforce company health and safety standards and address unsafe practices immediately
- Conduct routine safety checks and report any incidents or near misses
- Ensure all warehouse activities follow legal and company requirements
- Process Improvement
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste or downtime
- Support small improvement projects and assist in developing better work processes
- Share ideas for improving workflow, accuracy, and team performance
- Increase efficiency and turnaround time of container offloading and packing

- Years of Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Supervisory or team leader experience in a shift-based operation.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP / WMS).
