BUSINESS INSTRUCTOR (POOL)
Faculty Part-Time. The position of Business Instructor is a Pooled Position and applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed, ongoing basis. As the Part‑Time Business Instructor, you will be primarily responsible for teaching various business courses, primarily online.
Some courses may be in the traditional classroom setting.
- Teach various business courses, primarily online and occasionally in a traditional classroom setting.
- Bring energy, diligence, commitment, and collaborative spirit for student success.
- Education:
Master’s degree in Business; or other master’s degree with at least 9 quarter credits at the undergraduate level in Business plus at least 12 quarter credits at the graduate level in Business; or other master’s with at least 18 quarter credits in graduate-level Business classes. All degrees from a regionally accredited college or university. - At least 3 years of recent, directly related work experience.
- Familiarity with computer technology, MS Office products, and ability to easily learn the college’s learning management system, Canvas.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with others; ability to work in teams.
- 3‑5 years of experience teaching business classes at a community college.
