Robotics Control Engineer

• Develop, configure, and maintain robotic control systems for automated production lines.
• Program and integrate ABB robotic arms for various applications (e.g., welding, material handling, assembly).
• Design and implement control logic using Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs and associated hardware.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for robotic and PLC systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize robotic paths, cycle times, and safety protocols to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Document system configurations, wiring diagrams, and programming standards.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and robotics programming.
• Proficiency in ABB Robot Studio and IRC5 controller programming.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, including RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ether Net/IP, Device Net, Profi Net).
• Knowledge of safety standards (ANSI/RIA, ISO) for robotic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with HMI development (Factory Talk View or similar).
• Knowledge of vision systems and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with other robotic platforms (Fanuc, KUKA) is a plus.
• Strong project management and documentation skills.
